Pe Lamerigts
coach
My name is Pé Lamerigts (1957). I prefer to describe myself as an enthusiastic trainer, teacher and coach, humorous, but also confrontational. I provide training in the areas of personal effectiveness, mental and moral resilience, personal leadership, counseling, conflict management, and interview techniques. I also work as an ethics teacher and skills and behavioral trainer at a college.
Educational background
As a coach, I am trained as an NLP Master practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Originally I was trained as a mechanical engineer (HTS). After that I studied Personnel Science at Tilburg University.
Core of my work
My motto in training and coaching, “if you want to learn different behaviors, approach your brain like a muscle.” Especially when it comes to mental resilience and dealing with emotion. If you want to change you must be willing to push boundaries and explore the territory outside your comfort zone, but also learn how to “relax the brain muscle. As with developing muscle mass or fitness, “no pain, no gain” applies to learning different behaviors.
I hold the second dan Karate and regularly provide karate and self-defense training. In addition to my passion for training & coaching, I exercise a lot and enjoy taking road trips and multi-day hikes through inhospitable and desolate areas.
